FASERIP stands for:
Fighting
Agility
Strength
Endurance
Reasoning
Intuition
Psyche
These are your characters base stats and what you use to do things like punch people in the face, and kick people in the nards from 30 yards. We'll get into the charts later, but for now here are the explanations of each stat and what they govern.
Fighting: Fighting is melee brawling. Fighting is used to make a melee attack, and a melee dodge. This is used mostly by people with powers that require physical touching.
Agility: Agility is ranged brawling. Agility is used to make a ranged attack, and a ranged dodge. This is used mostly by people with powers that require them to be far, far away from people.
Strength: Strength covers a bunch of things, including adding damage to melee attacks, lifting objects, passing some difficulty checks, and affects the appearance of the character. The higher the strength, the more they can lift, the more damage they will do, and the more physically fit they appear.
Endurance: Endurance is, 100%, tied to how survivable your character is. It is used to protect from death, protect from death-dealing attacks, resist disabling effects such as poison and paralysis, lets you attack more often without tiring, covers how long it takes for your Hit Points to recover between missions, and various other basic checks.
Reasoning: Reasoning is your characters general intelligence. Useful for making checks regarding technology, repair work, etcetera.
Intuition: Intuition is your characters general awareness. Their Spider-Sense, if you will. This stat is used to detect traps, notice stealth hidden creatures/people, see random things, etcetera. It's all about the senses and detection.
Psyche: Psyche is your characters willpower. It is their ability to use psychic powers, defend from psychic powers, and protect (or use) psychic ailments.
Hit Points: Your characters hit points. This is an added combination of your Fighting, Strength, Agility, and Endurance stats. If your character is dropped to 0 Hit Points, they are rendered unconscious. A character recovers their Endurance in Hit Points per good nights rest.
Mind Points: Your characters mind points. This is an added combination of your Reasoning, Intuition, and Psyche stats. It is used for casting magical spells and using psychic abilities. They regenerate, per round, equal to your Psyche stat and fully restore after a good nights rest.
